Science Courses
Science universities and colleges teach you how to look for answers. If you want to understand how every living thing on earth works, then a science degree is for you.
Whether you want to cure diseases, explore new frontiers in space, create new medicines, or solve the climate change problem, a science degree will help you do it.
You could major in biomedical engineering, combining design skills with biological science to create new life-changing medical equipment and drugs. Or you could focus on marine science, and develop new research on coastal management and marine conservation. If you want to work in one of the fastest growing industries in the world, study biotechnology at a science university. It uses cutting-edge research to apply genetic behaviour to the world’s problems – curing diseases, solving world hunger and even helping the environment.
The possibilities are endless at a university of science and technology!

You can study pure science (biology, chemistry or physics) or applied science. Applied science degrees offer practical or vocational education, such as environmental science or forensics science. They also usually include work placements in industry or research as part of their program.
Look at the type of research your science college is funded to do. Do they have the latest laboratory equipment, and close links with industry? If you want to complete a Master of Science, your research could one day become a Nobel Prize-winning reality!
